Well Folks,

I have had quite the week to be sure!!! Yes the Grand Adventure lives on as I carry on my parents legacy of wild semi-spontaneous trips that are, well, wild and spontaneous.

You might recall the Japanese clothes designer crew from my posts on the Fourth of July.Weeeeeelllllllll .... they asked if I would be willing to joing them on a photo shoot in Ohio and New York City. After much prayer and consideration (and the fact that EVERYTHING fell into place so nicely), I decided to go. What you see is just a bare minimum (I trimmed what you see from over 400 shots). But I hope it gives you an idea of how things were.

In a nutshell, the idea is of a depressed loser young man (ME!) who decides to leave New York City and travel to Ohio. On the way, "I" meet up with some Amish families. Their family relationships inspire me. Ultimately, I remember my own family and return, a changed person, to my own ties.
