Hello Folks,

Forgive me if this week is late and short. I still don't feel the best. Still, I hope you enjoy.

Well Folks,

Since I'm posting so late, and I'm not feeling the best, this will probably be it for this week (i.e. I don't think I'm going to post on Sun or Mon night as I try to do).

This week covers visit's with Grandpa, exhorting fellow homeschoolers and an amazing journey to Moses Lake, Washington.

One caveat, since Jeff Flynn and I switched cameras SO MANY times with each other, I can only claim about 50-60% of these shots.

Love in Christ,
Michael

I begin this week with our visit with Grandpa Paul. On this particular visit, he shared of the "old days" in Canada where his father ran a barrel making factory. The best part were his illustrations of the different machines they used way back when. Side note, from the 1600's untill the early 1900's the Thomas family was a family of farmers and coopers (barrel makers). The techiqniques used were closely gaurded family secrets

Aren't these drawings neat?!?!

The children played mow (the card game where speaking is prohibit). It was SO funny, because every time a game would finish, we could here absolute silence and then a chaotic roar of voices.

Last Friday, Jeff, Pa and I left for a church conference in Moses Lake, Washington. What a trip!!! For me the best part what just being with two like minded men on a whirlwind four day trip.

Jeff draws his camera with the speed of a practiced camera slinger ...

My poor father is caught in the crossfire of two enthusiastic photographers

One highlite of this trip was that Jeff gave me almost charte blanch (spelling?) use of his camera.
