Well that is it for this week.
Hello All,
Photographically speaking it was a little bit of a slower week. Still, I hope you enjoy.
I'd like to wish you all a JOYOUS Fourth of July. In the words of John Adams to Abigail Adams
Philadelphia July 3d. 1776
"...But the Day is past. The Second Day of July 1776, will be the most memorable Epocha, in the History of America. —
I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.
Printed in Adams Family Correspondence, 2:29-33". (Please see http://www.visionforum.com/hottopics/articles/2005-07-01_001.aspx for more great quotes.)
On this day, I am thankful that we can take time to praise God for His expansion of liberty. Liberty, which I am saddened to see erode in time. Let us pray for His mercy that He might once again show His favor as we seek follow His laws.
Love in Christ,
Michael
