The next stage in the turkey's life is a touch of freedom. Finally let out of their pen they enjoy the fresh pasture. The neat thing about turkey's is that they seem to have more of that "wild" side to them. Up to 50% of their diet will be insects, grass and seed heads (whereas the chickens eat mostly the feed and a lesser percentage of the wild stuff).
