What's with the netting? Wellllll .....

Friday through Sunday, we were supposed to go camping. Since God gave us a bunch of rain, it was canceled. The eckerson's generously opened up their addition. Amazingly, we had a several hours of clear weather.

Don't mess with 'dese guys!

Later on, the Eckerson's gave the premier showing of their documentary on a local farm. Even though, I wasn't the lead actor, I still think it was pretty good! ;-) he he

Benjamin enjoys the show

Micaiah shows the younger ones how it's done

I post this picture as an apology for insulting all the girls last time by the AWFUL insinuation that only the boys were engaged in the event.

Afterwards we sang Sacred Harp, an awsome four part harmony from the colonial period of America. What a glorious time to BELT out great songs because everyone KNOWS (or is supposed to know) their part.

Even though this was a bit fuzzy, I thought it captured the "feel" of the singing

Someone enjoys our singing ;-)

Day is gone

In which the girls FINALLY put up our family pictures. Could be good, could be bad. In most of our past 19 moves, by the time our family pictures go up, we usally move in the near future.

Time to move?

Marscel's all tuckered out

While pricing a harp for Melanie at a local Celtic Festival, I got Pa a tuneable bodrahn. I snuck it home and switched it with his regular blah one. While we were playing music, he pulled it out and I (with camera ready) caught the face. I love his puzzled blank stare! :-) It was so funny, it took a little for him to process what had happened. He he .... LOL .... ;-)

In which we try out the new drum! Awsome sound, tone etc.

:-0 One of my latest experiments ... unfortunately, I couldn't actually make it sound like anything :-)

I leave you with this picture ... rain rain rain. For over a week I think it has poured. Local farmers are turning their fields over to start again. What a nation of extremes .... Texas is too dry and we are rotting away. Trust in the Lord!

It's ready

Once the younger children started going through the line, it quickly became apparent that their lack of perspective when applying the condiments necessitated the service of The Relish Server ...

... and of course, the Butter Queen

The Foster family, which we shall miss greatly. Colonel Foster being stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
